A Brooklyn based groove rock band that formed accidentally and play as a trio or duo. Ben, Rick and sometimes Jeff bring a sound that has a classic rock feel with a dance feeling.

Cherry OPO: Transcultural Art Rock. Chirripó means "water in motion". Rooted in the raw edges of 70's Punk and the contagious grooves of minimalist disco, Cherry 0P0's music expands further into post fusion territory- blending reggae, jazz, funk and world. Cherry 0P0 is an evolution of the band Sistermonk; songwriters Jody Rubel and Ina Taurus have finally taken the bold step of fronting their songs themselves.
Jody and Ina have performed at Festivals including Yasgur's Farm, Froggy Daze, as well as renowned venues such as Rockwood Music hall, Nublu, The Church, and Bowery Electric, the NY City Main Library, The German Consulate and most recently at The University of Iceland
